This very rare and much sought after 1974 Kawasaki F7C 175 Trail has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 4327 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is not complete missing the mirrors. indicators. ignition key & exhaust baffle. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & tyres are perished. Sadly the fuel tap lever & ballend off the brake lever are broken off. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight front has nice chrome rim but rear is rusty. both have good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look ok. Fuel tank is dented but is squeaky clean inside. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base feels in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression but we haven't run it up. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Kawasaki UKs customer services on 01628 856643 with the frame & engine Numbers. /p>

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
