Kawasaki KH 250 1980 Classic Project  

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to restore a KH 250 with the original. age appropriate Flow Line Fabrications fairing. I am unsure as to what to value it at. so please feel free to make me an offer.

The speedo states that it has covered 17. 00 miles; I cannot confirm that this is correct. although I do have the V5 so perhaps previous MOT certificates can be tracked via the DVLA website.

Apologies for the poor images. they were taken on a slightly dim day and I would say that it looks better in the flesh.

Both engine and frame numbers are present and match the documentation. as follows:

Frame/VIN: KH250B-028025 Engine: S1E057673 Registration number: KBU 178V Date first registered: 12/05/1980

It is in need of complete restoration as you can see in the images; however it is a good solid base. There are parts missing but most of the integral parts are there and everything you can see in the images is included in the sale; so please inspect them thoroughly. It is also worth mentioning that the clutch basket has damage to one of the teeth that hold the plates in place.   The wheels show signs of corrosion as does the RH fork tube. apart from this. the frame itself is very solid and looks to be in excellent condition. The engine looks very tidy indeed and all three carburettors look to be in good shape also. In addition. the tank is in nice condition and will just require a clean and some paint. the same goes for the fairing. it will require some minor touching up and a re-spray.

I'm sure that some more detail would be useful to some of you guys. so please get in touch as I cannot think of anything else to add at present.
