ktm 950 adventure. Great Cond And Service Hx. No Expense Spared.

So my KTM Adventure 950 2005 is up for sale. Bought for a two week trip round Europe last year and very much loved. Sadly time to sell her on as back on my ninja.  

Since owning it I've done 10k on it and it hasn't missed a beat. started every time for work in the morning no fail.  

As anyone looking for one of these knows. The ones to go for are the 950s. much smoother throttle response. less jerky and good round town.  

The good bits.  

Number one. Loads and loads of service history. receipts for parts (all genuine KTM). no expense spared. Old tax discs and MOTs.  

Service History and extras : 

37 000 miles. KTM filter and motorex oli. Fuel filter also air filter cleaned.  

32 000 miles KTM filter and Motorex Oil. Air filter and NGK spark plugs.  

28 000 miles Full service ( valves  - shims done. KTM filters. Motorex Oil)

New KTM Fuel Pump

Upgraded water pump shaft with new seals

Adventure Specs Stainless Steel 2 in to 1 link pipe (pricey and sought after) new gaskets with Remus Cans (second silencer included sounds amazing) costing far too much. Enables extra storage or fuel container to hang in second exhaust space.   Original KTM exhausts inc also.

KTM lock on small centre storage compartment.  

KTM wind deflector (sits down at the forks stopping wind up through the faring)

Plenty of life in chain and sprockets.  

Band new scorpion tyres front and back. Approx 150 miles on them cost over ?200.  

New rear pads 50 miles ago . Plenty of life in the fronts too.  

Have a box of old spares (shows all things replaced) plus few new bits (not used) inc.  

Service manuals and bits inc

Approx 2000 miles before next service due.  

Has brand new  MOT (as of last week) on it ready for sale. Only advisory is the pipes are a little loud ;).  

TAX until start sep 2015.  

Current milage 42 000

Great Clean Condition few age related marks but to be expected.  

Have extra oil to go with the bike too plus filters. bulbs and other bits.  

Have genuine KTM Top

Box and rack currently on the bike. Will let it go if the price is right.  

Only bad point I can think of is one of the fuel caps shat it's self. Had to drill it out. Still works and seals fine. Planned to replace it but not got round to it and it still works. Can get replacement locks or approx ?70.  

All in all I think with all the service history. extra parts and condition this is a great buy. all the things that need doing are done and its ready to ride away (note new MOT too) Happy for viewing and poss test ride with cash in my hand.
