Up for auction is a PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW 2013 KTM 250 SX-F 4 STROKE. FUEL INJECTED DIRT BIKE. This bike has a OVERSIZE GAS TANK INSTALLED AT THE DEALERSHIP. A EXPENSIVE PEG MOUNTED KICK STAND (NOT INSTALLED) AND A USFS APPROVED KTM SPARK ARRESTOR (NOT INSTALLED). The bike also comes with the stock gas tank and side stand. ALL PAPER WORK. BOOKS AND TOOLS ARE ALSO WITH THE BIKE. Over the summer of 2014 my 3 sons and I took our Honda dirt bikes to Durango Colorado to do some trail riding but when we arrived I realized that my Honda had some problems so I went to the Fun Center KTM dealership in Durango and bought this bike brand new off the floor. I financed the bike with zero down. the dealership installed a brand new oversized gas tank for me and I also purchased a peg mounted side stand and a USFS approved spark arrestor for the bike but did not have time to have those items installed but they do come with the sale of the bike. My Sons and I loaded the bike at the dealership and took it straight to the trails. I rode it only that day and I approximate that the bike has 3 hours and 30 miles total on it. The bike did really good on the trails. it has a lot of low end torque and the suspension was dead on. The fuel injection system kept the bike planted at low speeds and that is what we rode at the whole day because all the trails were tight single track plus my youngest son is 11 years old so I had to ride at his pace. I rode the bike very easy with no jumps. no mud and no rain. I haven't even washed the bike since that day so the pictures of the bike depicts the bike just as it looked the day it came off the trail and I put it in my garage back in Texas under a cover. The bike has never been down but it does have a very small scuff mark on the front fender from being transported back to Texas inside of an enclosed trailer with five other bikes (I also bought my youngest son a bigger bike the same day I bought this one. he had a brand new Honda CRF 80 but he looked too big on the bike so I bought him a KTM 80 to ride). For all practical purposes this bike is still brand new and still hasn't been fully broken in ( I followed all the break in procedures to the T while riding the bike). This is a great opportunity to own one of KTM's most desirable bikes at a fraction of the original cost plus it comes with about a thousand dollars worth of extras. The bike is a very good trail bike even though KTM built it as a full on out of the box motocross race bike. it is very predictable on the trail and rides comfortably at low speed on tight trails. Like I said the bike is financed and I will have to pay the bike off before I get the title but that shouldn't take too much time. I will require a $250. 00 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction and full payment within 7 days of the end of the auction.
