KTM Duke 2 Limited Edition with Akrapovic carbon cansVery reluctantly I have to sell my pride & joy. Moving into a flat very soon and have nowhere to keep the bike. Also. will be taking out a mortgage very soon so the extra cash will go towards a deposit.  The bike is lovely. looks great. sounds great and goes great. I won't waste anymore time and I'll get to the bad bits first:The bike smokes when blipping the throttle at idle once it's warm but s generally ok when cruising around unless blipping the throttle. I'm 99% sure this is just valve stem seals. every symptom leads to that. and considering its mileage it is typical for KTM LC4 engines to require a service at this point. Like all KTM Duke 2's it is difficult to start with the electric start. the battery just doesn't have enough cranking power to turn it over fast enough. I use a LiPo battery to start it (or if I can be bothered I kick it!). Taxed to end of August 2015MOT'd to 26th June 20152x good Dunlop Mutant tyresChain is good condition. no stiff links. just needs a clean & lube (the bike has been sitting for a few months unused as I don't like getting it covered in rock salt and road dirt this time of year!)Akrapovic carbon cans with baffles still inAs with most KTM's they come with excellent components. WP Suspension front and rear. fully adjustable. Renthal bars. Brembo brake calipers front and rear. etc. Plus. all replacement parts are OEM KTM parts. not cheap pattern parts. The bike has been well looked after. It comes with original cans also. a black seat. black panels. handguards. and a few other bits and pieces. I'll even throw in the bike cover and an Oxford Oximiser battery charger (As I won't be needing them)Any inspection welcome before the auction ends. It is a lovely bike and I'll be sad to see it go but needs must. You won't be disappointed. although don't expect an immaculate 16 year old bike. but for a 16 year old bike it is beautiful.
