1983 KTM495 Motocross Enduro Cross Country Vintage AHRMA TVRC KTM 495 Need to thin out some of my projects that I just do not have the time for at the moment. This was a weekend rider until a few years ago. It has been sitting patiently waiting its turn for some routine maintenance and then to the races and tear the track up again or do a restro if you wanted. Just depends if you want to race and get dirty or just carry it around and look good. Fuel was drained before setting it up in the shop. This was the third year out of only four for the 495 and the only year that had a disk front brake. No need for me to go into the history of the 495. if you are looking at this then you know what it is. I know its not perfect so no need to write and tell me that. But it is all there and rolling and can have you riding and racing with a minimum of effort. It would need the usual for a bike this age of at least carb rebuild. tank clean and air filter to be up and running. If you were going to race it then you know the drill. tires/tubes/chain/fork seals/brakes and front to rear inspection etc. As you know you can't leave anything to chance if racing. I do have a manual on this bike in pdf. think it may be a parts list. I might take another vintage bike in trade on this one. you never know till you ask. We race a number of different bikes from 100cc - 500cc Yamaha/Honda/Suzuki MX/Cross Country/Trials. Some local delivery might be available depending on where and when for an extra transportation fee.
