KTM LC4 640 SM Enduro 2003

 KTM LC4 640 Enduro (converted to SM). 2003 model on 53 plate. V5 present. SORN Bike is sold as spares or repair but is an easy fix. It was running ok prior to me messing around with the electrics. I tried to do it neatly behind the headlight with nice connectors (partially successful) but it does not run now. I would really recommend purchasing a new or secondhand complete loom as this one has been chopped around in places. This is just over £100 from KTM or I am sure you could find a secondhand one for about £20. Or. if you have the patience. knowledge and time to sort this one out then you could do that. I do not have any of those things. Either way. it is a reasonably cheap fix and the bike will be fine. All the reg/rec. relays. coil. switches etc. work fine. This will cost no more than £150 max. to repair so is still worth at least £1000. It is a bit rough in places with some rusted spokes and some other corroded bodywork bolts around. Despite the wiring being chopped about. the bike has been well maintained over the years. There are plenty of receipts for work carried out by dealers and other receipts for stuff purchased by me and the previous owners. I have had it for several years and not really ridden it much in that time but have changed the oil and filters a few times at service intervals etc. The valve clearances have just been checked and the clutch has just been bled. The front brake will also have fresh fluid in when sold. Has a brand new air filter to go with it too. There are a few other parts to go with the bike too. The manual and documents bag is all there. there is a smaller tank and the seat off the SMC which I found nicer as it is narrower and more comfortable. There's some other plastics. frame guards and a Scorpion stainless steel exhaust as well. There is a dyno read out which shows the carb has been jetted right for that exhaust. It is fitted with a 320mm Braking front disc. a caliper adapter with Brembo four piston caliper. and a Brembo radial master cylinder. It's got the newer style EXC headlight too. Maxxis Supermaxx sports fitted with plenty of life left in them. I think that is all but I will update the advert if I think of anything else. Viewing is recommended.
