2001 KTM 400 LC4e low miles (1699) like new. Runs Great! Carb rebuilt!

Just picked up this low mileage KTM 400 LC4e Adventure Dualsport bike. I have gone thru the carb (BST-40) and cleaned it replaced the jets and slide. Removed the smog canister and plugged the vents for that.I installed some small Uni-filters on the other 2 carb vents per the KTM forum website, hould keep the carb clean now.Changed oil and filters, astrol full syn 20-50W. Cleaned the air filter. New sparkplug. Pink in my name and expires 08-2016.

All lights work fine. Runs great, ice and smooth. Has the stock exhaust which is a Supertrapp. Nice and quiet. Nice factory skidplate. Large 5 gal tank. Handguards. Lower than stock gearing.

WP suspension from the factory. Tires are 50%. I beleive these were the stock tires as rims don't show any marks from tire irons. They are Dunlop D606 front and rear. DOT tire codes are BDY-2701 for the rear. (made in the 27th week of 2001) and BDY-2902 for the front. Slightly newer for a 2001 bike. (29th week of 2002). Don't know why.

I put a left side mirror on it that I had in my garage, nly came with the right side. Sorry for the mismatch but it works fine.

These bikes have a spin on oil filter on the front downtube and a catridge type also, etter than my 2004 SXC625 that I had. This bike came with a bigger front rotor than the 2004 also. Fanatastic Brembo brakes on this one too.

You won't be disappointed with this bike. Have a small box of take offs and extra filters that go with it.
