I have reluctantly have decided to part with this bike. Runs great. Well maintained with synthetic oil and all regular maintenance. No issues- just do mostly street and bought a vstrom. It has Pelican cases on SW motech rack. Motech side stand. New rear Metzler Karoo rear tire to go on it. LED signals and pulsing headlight for high visibility. Everything else in great shape. No dings or scrapes. Stock speedo quit and I have a trailtech Vapor on it. The trail tech has 7000 miles on it but total miles is 40. 00 + Have some spares for it as well including brake pads and clutch cable. Clutch replaced within the last 2000 miles and I also did the main clutch bearing mod (for those who know the 640's. KTM recommended an upgrade on this bearing and I did this when I replaced the clutch). 7. 4 gallon fuel tank. Electric and kick start. Clear title in my name. I bought the bike in 2006 with 6000 miles on it and used it for my daily driver since then. I want to add a bit here- there were a couple 640 Adventures on ebay with "only 800 miles" or so. The KTM tripmasters (odometers) had an issue with a battery going dead and "zero'ing" out the odometer. So. in reality. you may not know how many miles one really has when the seller says "only XX miles". This bike had 6000 on it when I bought it and I kept meticulous records so that every time my tripmaster "zero'ed" out (and it happened several times) I recorded it so I know the actual mileage. I did the same when I finally replaced the tripmaster with the trail tech Vapor.
