Description

First things first... No trades, o test rides, o scammers, o bidders with less than 5 positive feedback, o riders who just got or don't have a bike license, o drama. Please only bid if you intend to buy this bike. This is a big boy bike. It is not a 600 or a 750. This is a 200rwhp motorcycle that will change your f-ing life. Once you ride this, here's nothing else you can ride. And I mean that. If you're looking at this auction, ou should know what you're looking at. This isn't a gixxer or a ninja. This is a street legal super bike.
Anyway... Sadly I've decided to sell my KTM RC8. It's not by choice but by necessity. There's less than 100 of these in the states. And there's less than 50 that are street registered. At least that's what KTM told me. I've personally never seen another one in person. I purchased this bike in August of 2013 as a leftover. I am the only adult owner/rider. It's been ridden by one other person since I've had it. And it changed his life. He sold his piece of crap gixxer and got an aprilia. Once you ride an exotic bike, here's no going back. The bike is paid for and I'm waiting in the title. Title is clear. This is not a salvage or rebuilt bike. It was purchased from a KTM dealer in Arizona.
Currently, he bike has a tick over 1500 miles on it. First service was performed by me as I don't trust any local mechanics. Take into account, n oil change is about $200 for this bike. The oil alone is about $90. Oil filter is $60. Sure, ou can buy knockoff stuff and save a few bucks. But if you buy this bike and cheap out on services, 'll find you and hurt your family.
As far as mods, he motor is bone stock. There's a fair amount of bolt-ons which I will now list:
I've installed full race spec Akropovik exhaust. It is the race spec titantium muffler ($1700) and the full titanium race spec header ($5000). The header weighs about 5lbs. Stock is 17lbs. Power commander has been installed and mapped with the corresponding map for this exhaust ($700). With the power commander I also have installed the auto-tune. These little bad asses actually tune the bike as you ride it. They were $350 for the pair. These actually build a fuel/air map as you ride the bike optimizing your fuel delivery. You can use them a number of ways and I can explain that to the winning bidder. Rottweiler air box has been installed as well. This gets rid of the bulky, PA mandated air box which robs a lot of horsepower. The smog removal system has been removed and block off plates have been installed. All work was done by myself. No check engine lights or anything. All parts are 100% legit and designed for this specific bike. And they should be. You don't buy a Lamborghini and throw cheap parts from JC Whitney on it. Or maybe you do.... If you do, on't buy my bike.
A KTM under tail with license plate holder cleans up the rear. I even threw some snazzy KTM resi covers on all the resis along with billet KTM resi caps. Because... Well because it's awesome. Bike is located in southern/central NJ. No, won't deliver it and there will be absolutely no test rides unless you have a fist full of cash. I don't need to sell the bike so please don't waste my time with ridiculous low ball offers. They will be met with snarky and insult laiden responses.
Suspension and brakes are all the stock equipment. The suspension is WP race spec suspension including a steering damper. Brakes are brembo. The bike handles like its on autopilot. If you think left, he bikes goes left. You think right, t goes right. It stops on a dime and has more power than you'll ever need unless you're a fighter pilot. Included with the bike are front and rear pit bull bike stands that cost $450. I'll also include a riding jacket. The pictures don't do the bike justice. It's currently raining and my garage is too small to get good pics. But I assure you, he bike is in excellent shape. There's not a scratch on it and it's clean. It's been garage kept since new and has never seen any rain. Only thing that's not even noticeable is where I had to cut the lower cowl to accommodate the rac headers. But you won't even notice it unless I point it out. I've planned to machine a piece of metal to cover it but haven't the had the time to do so.
I realize I sound like a big douche bag in this add. Dealing with people from eBay is a nightmare and I'm just trying to weed out the fakes, irtbags and scammers. Please feel free to ask any questions and let me know if would like better pictures. Good luck and happy bidding.
