KTM 612 SX Supermoto Race Track Bike

So for sale is my immaculate 2005 KTM 612 SX race bike. based off the 525 SX supermoto. Built and raced by KTM in 05 for just one season and then dry stored and maintained until 2013 where a mate of mine bought it from them. where he only managed a few races then decided to move down to 450's. The bike is clad in the usual trick bits such as. Beringer 6 pot radial caliper & 320mm wavey disc. WP adjustable suspension front and back. black excel rims with lightweight talon hubs (16. 5" & 3. 5inch front & 17" & 5. 5" rear) currently on Michelin cut slicks with loads left in them. nbsp;Magura hydraulic clutch. full Akrapovic titanium race system. race air box etc etc.   Suspension telemetry was done by KTM themselves so the forks have been dropped by the correct amount and the rear shock adjusted to suit. so it doesnt sit too high or too low on the back end and is very well balanced! Currently set for a 12 stone rider. Now the very trick part. The motor: Built by KTM from new. its a 612cc. long stroke race motor. Everything from top to bottom has been upgraded to suit including clutch. crank. rod. titanium valves. head work (flowed. polished & blueprinted). billet spacers. gaskets and very trick billet engine cases! The motor was rebuilt last year by M Tech tuning and currently only has 2 hours on it! All in all it cost £2500 to put the motor together to this spec. All this work has produced a motor that delivers 80 rwhp on the M Tech dyno! This thing absolutely puts my TM 660 to shame! Its faster. more powerful and lighter than any Aprilia 550 or Husaberg 650 could ever hope to be but with the added bonus of actually being reliable. The beauty of this beast is that its beautifully smooth on the power and doesnt give you any nasty surprises. no snatchyness! The bike has been sat for a few months in a warm. dry workshop. so ive just had it fully serviced with Motul 300v fully synthetic oil. nbsp;both oil filters. both oil screens and all the seals that go with them. plug and air filter. Also just done both sets of fork seals + top quality Maxima race fork oil. Just fitted a full Samco silicone hose kit. including. all coolant hoses & Y piece. carb hose. petrol tap hose. in blue with new stainless clamps. Coolant swapped out for some very expensive Liquid Intelligence 115 synthetic coolant. not the usual glycol and water based tat!

Bike comes with a few spares: Original engine cases Brake levers and shifters Plastics Second set of silver KTM wheels (17" front) with wets on. with loads left in them. as new sprockets and discs. 2 spare wet rears. Huge spec bike with everything you need. £3500 ono. I am not in a rush to sell this bike. i dont need the space or the money and ill happily let it sit in my workshop and use it every now and then when i feel like it. so dont bother me with silly offers.
