KTM EXC 400 - 2010

This is a KTM EXC-R 400 which I have owned from new.   I am retiring from green laning which is what it has done for the last 4 years but as you can see from the mileage it hasn't been used very much.   It has done 197 hours 5186 Miles.   I had the piston changed approx. 20 hours ago but it was just being pro-active and the mechanic said it was actually fine. I have kept the old one if you want to see it. I have checked valve clearances at regular intervals. the last time being in May 2014 and they are fine.   It has the aluminium sump guard. KTM clutch saver. dirt tricks cam chain tensioner and DHL Graphics but apart from that its standard.   The dirt tricks tensioner is a popular upgrade ( I added when new) to provide additional reassurance but I have the original hydraulic one if you want it. The engine and gearbox oil are separate and I have changed these approx. every 3rd ride with KTM recommended Motorex synthetic oil. Although the bike was new from AMS in Tewkesbury and registered in 2010 it is actually a 2009 model for parts ordering.   Taxed until end of Feb 2015.  The chain. sprockets and tyres are good.   One of the radiators has a slight bend but it has been like that for 3 years without problems. It has some spares such as levers. air filters. road sprocket & chain.   It comes with the original KTM briefcase and manual and is a totally genuine bike so get yourself the best green laning. easy to ride bike there is.   Collection in person only.
