KTM XC-F 250 XCF 250 not excf sxf

 Hi. this auction is for my XC-F 250 which is a 2008 model. For those of you who aren't familiar with the XC-F model they are in my opinion the ultimate KTM to own as they have all of the advantages of an EXC-F with none of the drawbacks. while still having the full power engine and close ratio gearing of the sister SX-F model . so basically you get both electric start and kickstart. a side stand. an electric cooling fan (switch operated on the bars). working lights. a larger capacity fuel tank with a reserve . so its the best of both worlds!Right. now I have that out of the way I shall tell you a little about this particular bike!It has just been completely re built as a consequence of the bottom strainer oil filter being seized and damage occurring to the crank case when an attempt was made to remove it. so it went down to my local MX mechanic (Mid Wales Moto Cross) and as a matter of course I had him entirely rebuild it including all new genuine bearings in the gearbox genuine main bearings and a Vertex piston. and of course replacement crank casings. While this was being done to the engine I replaced the following things on the chassis :-Front and rear wheel bearings. nbsp; front and rear discs and pads. chain and sprockets (D. I. D chain) battery. michelin S12 XC rear tyre . Renthal Twin wall bars. Easton grips. It could do with a new front tyre before too long and the seat has a couple of small tears which are very small but I have to mention them. Other than that it wants for nothing at all. The bike has literally run for around one hour ( very gently I might add!) and is sweet as a nut!Obviously this work and the parts have come to an exceptionally large sum of money and when I was having the work done it wasn't with the intention to be selling it on. In fact quite the contrary this bike was going to be a forever keeper! But my circumstances have changed and all my friends (myself included) have become addicted to downhilling and even if I kept it I would hardly use it as all my friends have sold their bikes and got downhillers. The Bike did have tax and test but its now run out but there is no reason why it wouldn't fly through an mot .
