Up for sale is a fantastic bike. nbsp; my 2007 KTM 950 SM Supermoto. This is one of the most desirable Supermoto bikes made. The KTM 950 has more HP than even Ducati Monster 1100. has awesome torque and pulls crazy hard idle to rev limiter. Smooth running motor. last year of the carbureted bikes before the more "notchy" fuel injection. Most are familiar with the large single (640cc. etc) supermoto bikes. but the 950 is much more powerful and versatile bike. capable of long distance touring. and super sport riding with its flexible and fantastic motor. chassis. and brakes.
Motor is stock. jetted spot on. and runs flawlessly. Still stock exhaust. throaty sound but not loud. Great suspension. handling. and incredible Brembo brakes with radial mount front calipers. Stopping power better than any street bike I have ever owned (and that's a lot of bikes). Bike is in pristine shape. nbsp; low 5. 00 miles. comes with KTM factory tank bag. nbsp; and KTM factory soft saddle bag set-up with KTM mounting frames. New less than 500 miles on new tires. Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Sport-touring dual compound tires. Also. Billet Innovations oversize billet aluminum footpegs. Billet luggage aluminum rack with integrated passenger backrest. Also. Laminar windscreen. and black Supermoto handgaurds.
The performance of this bike is very surprising. the Power-to-weight ratio is far above many other bikes to it's lightweight. great suspension and handling. superior brakes. and very powerful engine. The throttle response and pulling power under heavy throttle is near breathtaking as it builds revs and speed. nbsp; but at easy throttle it is totally docile and tourquey power delivery. In the mountains. nbsp; this v-twin far outclasses in-line 4s and the brakes and exit power of motor puts distance on most all bikes.
If you know the 950 SM it also has a very comfortable upright riding position. and great for long rides. The 6 speed transmission has 5 close ratio gears and a tall 6th overdrive for effortless 75-80 mph cruise speed.
I am only selling one of my favorite bikes due to business start up and needing to raise some capital. Clear title in-hand.
