Description

This Kymco Pulsar with full service history has come up for sale here in West Sussex. There are a handful of jobs that although not that important would make it a better bike. If you are interested in this bike then do get in contact and ask as many questions as you like. ContactCall David mobile; 07711 116592 or 01273 782835 (do let me know if you need extra time after purchase). email oldbikerworld@gmail. comFacebook cut & paste David Evans Motorcycle into facebook search. then 'friend request' (for the reserve old/new stock price reductions. that sort of thing). Good points. Reasonably good general appearance. The ride is spot on. Good chrome work. Reasonable good original paintwork. Electrical items & instruments all working with no warning lights showing. Low general wear and tear & corrosion levels. Included paperwork; HPI print out (all clear). owner’s manual. service book (fully stamped by dealer). the expired MOT test certificateOriginal spare key. Bad PointsThe right bar end loose. There is old 'L' plate glue on the screenThe rear brake lever slightly bent. The tachometer is not working. Scratch on the exhaust heat shield. The Screen is scratched on the edge. Front brake lever was advised during the last MOT test as being 'bent but usable'. VideoThe video in this description is intended to give you an idea of the wear and tear. and any defects that I have found. whilst examining and testing the bike. The video also gives more detail on points relating to the paperwork and the good & bad points. The Ride. The bike feels spot-on. the wheels and steering feel perfectly aligned and there are no unusual effects in the handling. suspension or cornering . When cold. the engine bursts in to life straight away. There is no smoke. unusual noise or any other sign of any excessive wear. As the motor warms it settles down to a nice slow tick over. When under way on the road the engine has all the power it should have. accelerating through the gears just as it is supposed to. I cannot find any fault with the way the engine performs. The wear and tear. I can find no significant or unusual wear and tear in the wheels. suspension. engine. clutch. gearbox. steering. seat or panels. There are no obvious fluid leaks. I cannot guarantee the quality of the battery. However the battery does show 'good condition' on a ‘battery optimiser’. The battery seems to be starting the engine. Using the battery over a longer period than I am able to do. will tell you if it is OK. Is the mileage right? The previous owner has signed for the mileage. and the mileage shown on the VOSA MOT test history shows no discrepancy. However whilst I think it is possible that it is right. I have no outright proof. Other. There are no signs of any serious previous accidents in the history or around the bike. There are no other visible faults or damage. I do not always make comment on items that are supposed to wear or age as part of their normal function on a used motorcycle unless specifically asked. These items can include tyres. brake friction material. drive chain and sprockets. tyres. fork seals and lamp bulbs and anything else that might be affected by wear or age. The paperwork. There is a hunt going on for the V5 registration document. so it would be best to assume that you will have to apply for a new one. and then if it turns up before you collect the bike it will be a bonus. HPI Provenance Check. The bike has been checked against the HPI database this shows the bike:Has a secure background. Is clear of finance. Is clear of any previous accident insurance pay out. Is not stolen. There are a number of other features in the check that are also included. MOT. Although there is no current MOT test certificate with the bike. I could for the buyer get the local MOT testing station to test it. I can set the cost of this at ?99. 00 (in case it costs more) this would include the MOT test fee. any repairs or adjustments needed and the transportation to and from the MOT testing station. If you want to ride the bike home without a current MOT test certificate. you may find that is possibly legal for you to ride it. to your local MOT testing station. without an MOT test certificate (as long as the booking is pre arranged). I would recommend you check with your MOT testing station first.
