GENUINE ITALIAN BIKE

This auction is for my Lambretta LI 150 Silver Special.    The bike was imported from Italy in 2002 and I purchased it from the importer.  I purchased the bike in 2002/03.    Quite a lot of mechanical work was needed. which was undertaken by Allstyles Scooters in Portsmouth in 2003.    I have the invoice for this work. which came to ?1078 (parts) and ?500 (labour). plus VAT (total ?1893).    The parts include carb. 175 barrel and piston set. rear hub. clutch. flywheel…….     A new rear damper/spring was fitted recently.

I have a photocopy of the original Italian “log book”. together with a letter of authenticity from the Lambretta Club GB. confirming that this is a 1965 bike. manufactured in Italy.

The V5 gives the date of registration as 21 July 2003 and I am the only registered owner.    I have a full set of MoTs back to the first in 2003.     The current MoT runs to 30 June 2015.

I have not used the bike much at all. mostly attending shows and ride-outs.   A new speedo was fitted before June 2005.    Since registration. I have only driven about 350 miles.

I still have the original Km speedo. which shows an impressive 46. 56 Km (nearly 29K miles).

This is essentially a “Mod” bike. with front and rear racks. front crash bar. flyscreen. mirrors etc.    There were marks on the mudguard and left side panel which have been sprayed by me. but not an expert job.   However. the overall condition is pretty good. as the pictures show.    No rust at all.    I have an Agreed Insurance Valuation from Carole Nash for ?4000.
