Italian Innocenti Lambretta Li125 Series 3 Slimline. 1962. with Lambretta Club of Great Britain dating certificate authenticating the machine as a genuine 1962 model Italian Lambretta. Photo history is present to document the rebuild and restoration by a previous owner. Receipt for professional engine rebuild costing over ?1300. Engine rebuilt with GP crank. 150cc barrel and piston. 150 gearbox. new clutch. Jetex carb thro airbox and big bore Clubman. The scooter is still not run in since this engine build and rides and starts very well. The clutch is very sharp and bitey indicating that it is still very new. I bought this scooter last summer from a dealer in Essex intending to use it this year but I have recently lost my job in the Oil industry. work is very quiet and the scooter has to go to fund other things. The scooter is reg'd as a 125 with V5 in my name and currently on a SORN. Build quality looks generally good but the panels are clip-on which is wrong for this age Italian scooter. They look original but are probably Spanish. The legshields are also possibly Indian. Frame and engine are Italian. If you want a good starter/learner scooter that can be improved in the future then this could be for you. It isnt perfect but perfection is expensive and this isnt.
