Description

Lambretta LI 150 registered as 125 Nut and bolt restoration This 1964 Lambretta LI150 has been fully restored and finished in 2-pack Old English White and metallic British Racing Green after first being sand blasted and any rust removed and repaired where nessesary. It has been assembled with all new cables and stainless steel fasteners throughout. The front hub has been fully rebuilt with new seals. bearings and brake shoes. All new rubbers have been fitted to the body panels (the side panels are still a bit tight due to the new rubbers!) A new wiring loom has been installed and a halogen bulb fitted to the headlamp and all new standard bulbs throughout along with a new brake light switch.  A stainless steel stand with new feet. a stainless steel splash panel and a stainless rear sprint rack has also been fitted. The seat has been refurbished and fitted with a brand new cover. The engine is an LI150 which has also been fully rebuilt with new FAG seals and bearings. a new clutch and a new BGM 12-volt electronic ignition conversion. The barrel has been bored out to 175cc and a new piston and correct 175cc cylinder head also fitted. A new Jetex 22mm carburettor has also been installed. this is currently running rich as the engine needs running in so it will need some fine tuning once its done a few hundred miles to bed the piston in. Stainless steel head and flywheel cowl are also fitted as well as a chrome fuel tank and a fast flow fuel tap. The scooter is registered as a 125cc so fully learner legal. In short the scooter has had a full nut and bolt restoration. The LI decals can be easily removed if they are not to your liking. The scooter will have a full 12-month MOT when it is sold and it is obviously tax exempt. The V5 is present and ready to transfer so no lengthy wait while you try and register it as with some restored scooters. just sort your insurance and off you go. Any questions or inspections welcome but remember you bid to buy not come and haggle! The scooter is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove if sold. A deposit is required within 24-hours of auction end and collection within 1 week ideally although this can be negotiated.
