1968 LAMBRETTA LI 125 Series 3 Special

Lambretta LI 125cc Series 3 Special. This Lambretta has been stored in my garage since 2008 when I had to push it home after it conked out.  I tried a few times to get it started but. not being mechanically-minded. I failed and got fed up. I was planning to get a full restoration undertaken but my wife tells me that our son's college fees have to take priority so I am selling it reluctantly .  The garage is somewhat damp and the scooter is becoming rusty in numerous places (see photos).  The paintwork is awful and requires stripping and re-spraying.  The engine turns over and is not seized.  It is classed as an Historic Vehicle so the tax is £0. 00.  It is a genuine 125cc so is learner-legal. It is not currently MOT'd.  The frame number is 871784 and the engine number is 871858.  Also included is a fly-screen. front rack with lights and 20 mirrors with stems (all rusty in places).  View by appointment only.  Buyer to collect.
