The bee?ˆ™s knees!!!!!

I am selling this for a friend. This lambretta was built with no expense spared by a very good friend of mine. Technically brilliant. amazing looking. a joy to ride. and super-fast (if you want it to be!). You don?ˆ™t HAVE to open the throttle full whack BUT ?ˆ“ if you do. this scooter flies!

Now I am old enough to remember these in their day and this lambretta captures the full look and character of EXACTLY the lambrettas that I would see cruising the streets on a Saturday  - Fully polished and resplendent in all their regalia. in the 1970?ˆ™s.

The guy who built this is (to say the least) an absolute perfectionist.  Every cable route. part and feature is really well thought through and so neat. it is a beauty to behold!

Still in virtually mint condition and fully serviced.

Always attracts a crowd and when the sun hits that metalflake and chrome ?ˆ“ it looks amazing!

Extra treats

Italian 200cc engine (casing unstamped). with a Rapido 225 kit. 30mm dellorto and jl3 snail exhaust and recently measured 19bhp on a dyno.

Beautifully engineered and expertly set up to give a great scooter that cruises with modern traffic whilst being VERY RELIABLE and its sound amazing;

Now. when this scooter was built. the rather poor reproduction side winder seats were not available so. we got a perfect original sidewinder seat. took it to bits. and through a very meticulous engineer friend. copied every component exactly! The seat was then covered in leopard print vinyl; the result is - yes. a seat that cost a fortune BUT ?ˆ“ it looks amazing!

Spotlights and fuel gauge (yes a working 1970?ˆ™s fuel gauge!!!) etc are all fully operational and powered by a battery which is in the toolbox along with the coil and regulator.

The console has a working fuel gauge and a working temperature gauge.

Cables and wiring are all routed through the frame.

SX headset (top and bottom with white button switch)

Genuine front disc brake.

Floor boards and rear running boards are a bespoke one piece and made at great expense by an engineering firm. fitted with genuine floor runners etc.

The spinner on the back hub is from a Corvette Stingray and is housed in its own bearing so it spins independently of the hub! ?ˆ“ WOW!

In fact. no expense was spared in any feature or part.

Paint

The paint was applied by a custom sprayer who always does really amazing work. It is a red metallic base with red metal flake and top coat lacquer. The finish is like glass!

Now I know for a fact that this scooter cost a small fortune to create BUT it is offered here on Ebay  and I am sure the next owner will thoroughly enjoy the expert creation. attention to detail. the reliability but most of all ?ˆ“ how stunning this scooter looks and the attention it receives.

It is being sold fully serviced and ready to go!
