Lambretta Li 150 Series 3 III Original UK Registered ScooterHere we have an Li 150 Series 3 purchased by me back in 1990. It is mainly complete. just missing rubbers and fasteners and whatever you cannot see in the pictures. It is a 1962 model but has a C plate on it. Someone obviously sold the number and a local number for Surbiton (where I purchased it) was put on. All you need to do is restore the scooter. get an MOT and apply for an age related number to be put back on. As it is a 1962 model it has a few small differences:The side casing for the engine is a Series 2.  The front hub is a Series 2 type.  The forks have bolt in buffers rather than the later push in ones.  The stator and flywheel are the earlier brass and 4-pole (I think) type.  The clutch basket has the spring shock absorbers in the main drive rather than the solid ones that came later.  Panels are the handle type. All these differences were just because of the transition to the early Series 3's and Innocenti using up old stock. I think these small differences make it a bit more unique and make it a great scooter to restore. It should probably be a 2-saddle type. The engine and frame numbers are matching. in that they are less than 500 out. I did take the original casing out to restore it. transferring the components to a new block. Both the original and spare included in sale. Also included are a genuine set of spare Li legshields. These are probably a bit straighter than the originals. depends if you want complete authenticity. I think I've listed it and displayed it as honestly as I can. Grab a piece of genuine registered UK history that you will give no problems re the DVLA etc. Cash on collection. £100 deposit by Paypal.
