Lambretta TS1 232cc Race Tuned Scooter

Selling as a restoration project or for parts

This is my old rally scooter which I've owned since the mid-eighties. The blue full frame was a LI 150 but back then I needed it to be registered as a 125. so I bought a 125cc servetta log book and plate and used to ride it around on them.

A friend used the scoot for a few years in the 90s and when I got it back the frame was re-stamped with the Servetta frame number. The re-stamp isn't good so I decided to get another frame. It also came back with an fresco exhaust as the pipe I originally had became illegal with regulation changes

I bought the (Indian 1978) GP cut down frame with log book from another friend in April 2001.  I was going use the blue frame as a donor to build the GP back into a full frame. I also bought another set of GP forks. links and dampers.

The paint on bodywork is tatty with surface rust. That said. it is straight and has no rot.  The side panels from the blue frame are GP panels and the right hand side has been louvered for air intake

The photos show a plastic front light unit and broken hexagonal rim. These are no longer with scoot.  The GP lower head set has a bit ground out for a quick action throttle. The blue frame does have a seat (not shown in the photos). nbsp;this is tatty and needs recovering. Also not shown in the photos is a bag of nuts. bolts and fittings to go with.

The engine was a TS1 225 and in 1989 I had it race tuned by Taffspeed to a 232cc.  Jap piston (Yamaha YZ 250cc). 60mm GP racing crank. 34mm Amal carb. AF light flywheel. 12v electronic.  The flywheel is rare and quite sort after. (please see http://www. afrayspeed. co. uk/index. php?page=per_flywheel for more info).

The engine casing has a repair at one of the head stud threads. It has been ally wielded. re-drilled and re-tapped. This repair is sound and most definitely tried and tested. I had a 240cc kit on it before I bought the TS1.

It is as the photos shows. any questions or you would like to see photos of specific areas/parts. just ask and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Cash on collection only

To seperate non payers from genuine buyers. the sale must be completed within seven days of auction end. If you need me to hold on longer than seven days. I would require a ??100 non refundable deposit via paypal and the balance paid on collection.

Thank you for looking.
