Laverda 750 Strike Re-listed

Was sold 2 weeks ago. ow re-listing as prospect buyer wisely HPI checked thebike!. t came back very negative !All down to incorrect information on the V5. heinitial dealer only entered 4 of the VIN digits on the log book. s it happens there are 8 other vehicles on finance one of which has been written off sharing these 4 numbers !!. an you get your breath ?Now sold with current HPI check report showing other vehicles on finance and no catagorised insurance claims agianst this vehicle. Thanks Mark i would never have known. This is a Laverda 750 Strike year 2000 which i think is the same as the Ghost model. I have only had this bike a very short period of time . i was expecting a more sedateponderous bike to ride. his however for a 750 twin is extremely quick from the take offand doesn't do so well with the bimbling high gear low speeds that i travel around at !. As can be seen these bikes are dripping with (for the time) high quality components. he handling . suspension and brakes are superb. etter than i am !. The previous owner had a problem with the wiring this has been rectified but there is some signs of burnt plastic on the rear fender and inner mudguard. (shown on pics)The invoice for the repairs suggest a new battery has been fitted but i suspect this isnot the case as the starting becomes lazy after a short time. t's definately not the starter !The tyres are good as are the chain and sprockets. There is a small crack on the front fender caused by the previous owner moving it whilsta disc lock was still in place. To be fussy the engine casings. xhaust hangers and passenger grab rails would benefitfrom powder coating . have tried to show on the pics they are not horrendous but detractfrom the overall general good condition of the bike. MOT'D untill January so the last days of sunshine can be had before worrying about re-testingnext spring. The V5 is in my name but is at DVLA having the full frame and engine numbers added. I am starting the auction off at a sensible figure with no reserve . Buyer is to collect. o over sea's bidders please.
