Malaguti Olympique - Barn find sports moped, cafe racer FS1E alternative project

Hi and welcome to the auction of this Malaguti Olympique that I am listing for a good friend. This is a genuine barn find bike that is about 90 to 95% complete. Engine turns freely. but no attempt has been made to start it. There is no V5 document. but it does have a registration plate that is a 'N' reg. so will be 1974 or 75? You may be able to assist via the frame number. If I get chance before the listing ends I will try and contact the DVLA to see if it's still on their database. It has matching engine and frame numbers (see photos) and the engine is Motor Morini. It has a Delorto carb. sound fuel tank. alloy hubs. good side panel and toolbox. You will see that there is surface rust on most parts. please note that nothing is rotten or beyond restoration. There are a few bits missing. like speedo. chain guard. the odd screw and bolt and it has the wrong headlight. Please look carefully at the 12 photos as they form part of the description and ask any questions or arrange to view the bike before bidding. This is a rare bike worth saving. This is a no reserve auction with no buy it now. As stated. viewing is welcomed and advised. Collection within 5 days of auction end unless agreed otherwise before auction end. Bike is not kept at my location in listing. but near Hertford in Hertfordshire. Cash on collection. Prime restoration project - give those Fizzy boys a run for their money!Good luck
