Montesa Cota 348cc Trials

Hello. Well I bought this nice Restored machine with all good intent of getting back into "Classic" twin shock trials.

 But at nearly 60yrs of age I've decided its not such a good idea.  So its up for sale.   Pictures say it all .

 Bike located in Mid Wales

 I can deliver ( within reason & by negotiation re mileage and petrol costs. nbsp;as I have a trailer)   Matching engine & frame numbers

Bike has progressive front fork springs. gas rear shocks/ new clutch/ new tyres/ new kick start/new seat/new brakes/new wheel bearings/ Brand new Carb/ new plastics/new petrol taps/new throttle & all cables replaced/ frame all powder coated/ painted with protective carbon effect tape ( removable) to protect vunerable areas

Note :I have a nice Malcom Rathmell  Petrol Tank cover with engraved Autograph ( RARE) needs painting that's negotiable in the deal The story goes this bike was bought by a farmer ( 1970's) for his son and run around for a brief period but stopped ( points stuck)

 Then left in a barn for tens of years.

 The Last owner bought it and stripped and restored it ( spending ?1100 in bits in 2014).

 The head was taken off and bores were perfect.

 Oil seals changed and all new gaskets used.

Mechanically its very good. For better starting / running the carb was replaced for a brand new ( OKO  not an Amal) I still have all the original bits which show the bike was not in bad condition.

I bought it to run around behind my house BUT in 6 months haven't used it.  

As I've basically "Retired" from riding he bike needs to be sold  So over to you.
