Description
This Montesa Cota 247 is complete but it needs a total restoration. I bought it to rebuild because it was the same as my bike that I rode in 1979 but I cannot see me getting around to it and it is for sale to fund another project. The front wheel is not correct and the magnesium hub has cracked but I have sourced the correct one and this is included in the sale. There was a spark when I bought it but I have not tried to start it. This would make a really nice twinshock trials restoration and they were very competitive in their time.
