Low-mileage Stelvio for auction. fast. fun & 100% reliable - and the best wind protection I've ever had. Givi top box goes on that rack: tall screen is also Givi. It actually sounds like a proper Guzzi on standard pipe. Around 12. 5K miles (10K on this speedo but there was a recall). all ICU mods done. I bought from DK showroom and they'd given it clean bill of health: MOT due this month I think so I will MOT it first.
Annoyingly just dropped at 10mph - cosmetic marks. see pics. Needs a footrest (I'm using pillion one on front left for now). A BMW GS-a-like at way less cost. These always go for ?4k+ but I'm starting low. Selling as I also have a Griso and can't keep both. It's a tough call.
Oh yes and it leans over a bit far on the side stand. I always use main stand anyway: dead easy and far better for peace of mind.
On 16-Feb-15 at 15:56:48 GMT. seller added the following information:NEWS: it now has a brand new MOT (no advisories) and a pillion footrest (required for MOT!).
Riding round to MOT place I wondered why I was selling. Fantastic handling. great engine. massive fun all round. It's even easy to manoeuvre in traffic.
I also realised why I dropped it: cold tyres. There's so much instant grunt from the 1200 twin that 1 minute from my house on a damp January morning it's a bit mad to gas it on the ramp of a rubber speed bump when leant over to get around a dawdling car. Rookie error.
Also someone asked why I didn't just spruce it up and sell as if not dropped and I realise that would have been an idea. A lick of white paint here. nbsp;some black on the clutch lever and engine guard and bingo. Higher reserve. But I didn't. so there you go.
