MOTO GUZZI CONVERT

Bike was MOT' today. so will have near enough a years ticket at end of auction. Only advisory is tyre tread depth. but tyres are both old anyway. Last MOT expired 15/05/2013. and bike was last used summer 2012. to tour Ireland. Starts. runs fine and was driven 14 miles to MOT station. Standard (I think) apart from Goodridge hoses. K and Ns.  Lucas Rita (I think) electronic ignition. and stainless exhaust system. also Odyssey battery. which may be getting tired. Sale will include a much better set of bars. and the panniers (not in pics) which came with it. they are matching blue. top opening hard panniers. but the catches are missing. Bike has rusty bits on the paintwork. consistent with age and unrestored condition. especially headlamp rim. and the metalwork could do with a good clean and polish. It also has a few minor oil seeps. Rear caliper has two inserts to repair previously broken bleed nipples. Speedo does not work. but was working up until just before lay up. Speedo glass has been broken and replaced with perspex. Neutral is hard to find. but box seems fine out on road. Screen has cracks. Sold as seen. no guarantees on such an old Italian bike!
