The Griso 8V SE might well be one of the most unique and captivating motorcycles to come out of the Mandello Del Lario factory.

In fact this bike is a stand out amongst all bikes on the road. Park next to a new BMW RnineT or KTM SuperDuke R and you will see its the Griso that actually stops people in their tracks. There is simply nothing like it.The first thing you will notice is the fantasticallyoversized exhaust with a deep distinctive sound that sets off car alarms at high RPMS but still lets the neighbors sleep when pulling inat low RPMs. You might also note the fully adjustable inverted front forks it's thick masculine stance or its subtlesophisticatedMoto Guzzi touches.At the heart of the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE sits a 1151 cc four-stroke V 90 twin engine which generates a maximum power of 110 Hp at 7500 rpm and 80 Foot Pounds at 6400 rpm. All this power is kept under control by a six speed gearbox with a single plate clutch. I'm sure they exist but I've personally never been on a bike with better take off speeds than this one.

The stopping power is assured by a capable Brembo braking system which includes front twin floating 320 mm stainless steel wave discs and rear single 282 mm fixed stainless steel discs

The Griso is decidedly masculine and powerful yet the “Quattrovalvole” engine seems to be set like a jewel in a frame that shows off its revolutionary design to the utmost effect. Returning to its performance.it becomes obvious that the sophisticated components are not mere technical details included for the sake of style but enhance performanceand provide guaranteed reactivity.

Adjustable Aluminum Short Clutch LeverThe stock clutch and brake levers were long and unsightly so I upgraded them with a pair of adjustable on-the-fly levers with six positions to allow you to tailor the clutch lever throw to your preferences. License Plate relocation kit. The stock assembly had plastic fender extensions and reflectors reaching nearly to the ground. I purchased a kit to tighten up the back end and give the bike the stance the Italians wanted before the DMV put their stamp on it. Note it in the picture. I will include the stock assembly with the purchase for you to decide.
