Experience on-the-road touring at its best with this incredible Moto Guzzi California EV. I have owned this bike for about 3 years and it has been a joy to ride. Guzzi's are well known for their reliability and this one has been no exception. Other than normal preventative maintenance (i.e. oil and filter changes) and a recent new rear tire this bike has performed flawlessly for me.If you've been riding Harley's you are going to be in for a very pleasant surprise. You can forget about the bone-jarring vibration that is a hallmark of the H-D design. The Guzzi features a very unique and distinctive lateral V-twin but the big difference is that cylinders are joined at 90 degrees (considered the optimum angle for smooth firing pulses) compared to the traditional Harley 45 degree configuration. And don't let the relatively smaller engine size distract you. I have regularly left my Harley-riding buddies in the dust with this free revving engine.I bought this bike from the original owner who babied it and kept it garaged at all times (as I have). He added a number of expensive and useful items to the bike including:
- Dual spot lights actuated by a "smart" switch sensor incorporated into the headlight flasher.
- Staintube Australian exhaust pipes/mufflers (a beautiful sound.. not too loud not too quiet
- Digital voltage meter
- Passenger pegs
- Factory style Hepco hard case touring bags
- tasteful pin striping on tank and fenders
- Custom fuel cap with Guzzi logo lazer engraved
- Highway "crash" bars
- A Corbin seat custom built onto the original Guzzi seat frame
- Extended windshield (bolts on to the existing for greater height.. not shown in pictures but included)
- New rear tire (just recently installed... front tire still has serviceable life)
- New front brake rotor
- New stainless steel dual mirrors
- Auxiliary power plug on handlebar (standard lighter socket)
- Maintenance free shaft drive
- tubeless tires with Guzzi's unique outer rim spoke design
- Hydraulic Self-adjusting Valves
- Fuel injection (just hop on hit the starter and go!)
