IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT ONLY 100 OF THESE WERE IMPORTED INTO THE UNITED STATES THAT YEAR!

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS PAPERWORK, ILL OF SALE ($9752.00 IN 1996!) AND THE BROCHURE FROM THE DEALER THAT IS BEAUTIFUL WITH MANY COLOR PICTURES. BIKE WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THREE COLORS, LACK, ED AND SILVER AND THIS BIKE HAS THE SILVER PAINT, XCEPT FOR ONE TINY SCRATCH ON THE TAILPIECE (PICTURED)THE PAINT AND DECALS ARE PERFECT DUE TO THE FACT THE BIKE WAS INSIDE STORED ALL OF THESE YEARS! IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS NEVER OUTSIDE IN THE SUN, T IS THAT PERFECT AS ARE THE DECALS AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE RAIN ACCORDING TO THE TWO PREVIOUS OWNERS!

This Motorcycle is 100% stock except for the aftermarket silencers (Stay-In-Tune with carbon fiber case in the pictures) and the carb jetting thatwas installed by the selling dealer in the 40mm carbs, arsh Motorcycle Company. I have the original La Franconi silencers that havelittle time on them and are perfect that go with the bike.

This bike is a time capsule in my opinion and should not be ridden, t is that nice, t is perfect for someone's collection!

I have ridden it very little and everything works as it should, t is VERY powerful and pulls hard, andles great, rakes with authority along with that great exhaust note that 90 degree twins like the Guzzi have. This is told by a guy that is 64, bought a 1976 Mark 1 Lemans brand new along with a 1977 and 1978 Ducati 900SS. This bike would destroy a 900SS in a drag race and when you got to the first corner I believeit would handle better. Dr. John Wittner developed the spine frame for this bike and the 2002 Daytona (they are the same) and it handles and stops unlike any other Guzzi ever offered to the public. Not only does it have the no maintenance driveshaft that no longer effects the handling but with Dr. John's help became the best handling Guzzi ever built!

I changed the oil and filter using Brad Penn 20W50 ($8.00/quart and contains Zinc) along with a new filter and pan gasket and changed the transmission fluid and final drive oil that I bought from Harpers MG pre-mixed with Moly. The bike still wears it's original tires! What can be more original then that? The second owner installed a new Odyssey battery approx. 2 years ago and it is working fine. I have pictured the battery and tool kit under the seat. I have just adjusted the valves and re-torqued the heads while I was there, nstalled new valve cover gaskets and 2 new NGK Spark Plugs that I also got from Harpers.

sold for almost $8000.00 in Cocoa Beach from a Dealership, hat bike had almost 32,000 MILES!!! Please check your Ebay completed items to see that this is true, was tracking that bike and here is the email that Ebay sent me when it sold!
