Description

Up for sale is this good looking and good running 1967 Moto Guzzi V700. I called it a V700 Ambassador because it is a V700 frame that has been upgraded with a lot of Ambassador parts (as you can see in the photos).
I had this bike up for auction a few weeks ago and took it down because I found out that somebody at the DMV was dyslexic and swapped two numbers of the VIN on the title. This issue has now been fixed and I have a new title with the correct VIN.
This motorcycle starts right up with no issues and runs and drives like it should. Everything is working, xcept that the rear turn signals are not connected (but they are on the bike). It has a Harley Davidson solo seat, hich is super comfortable. The odometer says 51,650 miles, ut the title says about 23,000 box A miles, o I think the speedometer was also replaced with one from the Ambassador. It is a very good looking bike, ut it is not perfect (the paint on the tins looks great, ut the paint on the frame has some areas where it's rubbed off and the chrome on the two engine guards is peeling). The exhaust pipes also look great, hey just have some dust on them in the photos. Please look very closely at the photos so you are aware of any imperfections before bidding. It has a clean Arizona title and the local Moto Guzzi mechanic has given this bike the thumbs up. Please contact me with any questions. Happy bidding!

In an effort to find out more about this bike, sent some photos to someone who knows about these things. Here is his response:
"You've got a whole lot of everything going on there:
5 speed transmission
Later rear drive
V700 dash
4-leading shoe front brake
V700 tail light bracket and - seemingly - rear fender
Non-original tail light
Non-original seat
Non-original handlebars and mirrors
Non-original headlight
Non-original horns
Completely non-original exhaust
Cylinder heads are from a later model
Waffle case could be from a variety of engines.
Tank is not from a V700
None of this is necessarily bad, nly different. There could be very nice upgrades throughout. Without knowledge of the specifics, hough, t seems more like a bitsa and nicely put together collection of comprehensive improvements.
It looks to me like someone put a lot of effort into this machine to make it exactly what they wanted. I hope this helps!"

I have this bike up for sale locally, o the auction could end at any time. If my reserve is met, will do my best to not end the auction. The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping or picking the bike up. I will help on my side however I can. I will accept a $500 down payment through PayPal, ut the rest will need to be in cash, ostal money order, r money transfer. Please contact me if you have any questions at all. Thank you!
