This is a 1974 Moto Guzzi Eldorado Police edition motorcycle, ith a California II engine/tranny/rear drive/swingarm. It is based on the Guzzi loopframe and is the California Vintage that many wish that Guzzi would have introduced in ’07. It was christened a “California Vintage II” by the builder and carries that name on its sidecovers. It is a “Guzzi Special”. It was built about 6 years ago, bought it from a friend of the builder. The frame has been powdercoated, odywork repainted, ew Excel rims with Buchanon stainless spokes, lternator kit, isc brakesfront & rear, artridge front suspension, uzzi controls and all mechanicals & everything rebuilt, enewed, echromed, efreshed or new. The engine has less than 4500 miles on it since the work has been completed. The bike has had a number of changes to it during my ownership, ll to make a very well sorted machine. A detailed journal of everything that has been done to it over the last 4 years has been kept. This bike was additionally fettled with by Charlie Mullendore of Antietam Classic Cycles, Moto Guzzi guru, nown throughout the country and beyond for his expertise with these beloved machines. There are a number of extras that will go with the bike, ncluding a windshield, opy of Guzziology, ocumentation, aintenance journaland a few spares. Contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them, will try to get back to you quickly with answers. To replicate this bike would cost far beyond what the buy-it-now price is as many of you know.
This is one beautiful and well sorted motorcycle and is the very best loopframe Guzzi I have ever owned, will be sad to see it leave my garage.
