Description

This Moto Guzzi is a one owner bike with 25000 miles on it. It had sat for almost 20 years and fell into sad shape. However, have rescued this beautiful piece of machinery and am in the process of restoring it from the ground up. I need to make this clear, his motorcycle is not yet completed, am about 40 hours into this build, t will be completed and ready by December 1st 2015. This will be my 4th V7 Sport restoration and 8th full restoration on Moto Guzzi motor cycles. My last 2 V7 Sport restorations have won several awards over the past 3 years, ncluding best Italian bike and best of show and 2014 Motoblot Chicago and Editor's choice at the 2015 Motorcycle Classics show at Rockerbox Festival. Not only are my restorations beautifully detailed, hey are mechanically sound and improved. This bike has NOS pistons, ings, rist pins and bushings and rod bearings. The heads have been rebuild, ylinders sleeved with cast iron liners. The crankshaft has been micro polished, ain bearing fitted and rotating components balanced. The transmission and rear drive have been completely disassembled, nspected, leaned, ll clearances checked and adjusted and worn or questionable parts replaced. Many new parts have been sourced and purchased including, omplete exhaust, eadlight, andlebars, pokes, ront fender, ail light, eat cover and of course tires, eals and gaskets. The wheels have been disassembled, ims and hubs refurbished, earings replaced. Carburetors have been ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt, he distributor, tarter, nd charging system rebuilt. A new wiring harness will be installed along with cables and hoses. The frame is powder coated gloss black, he tank was solid and has not been sealed or filled and tool boxes were in excellent shape, hey have been repainted the original black with the decals under clear coat. No expense spared and over 90 hours will be invested into this restoration. You will NOT be disappointed! The picture is of my last restoration showing you what the end product will look like, here are differences as the bikes are different model years.
