Adult ride - windshield, leather saddlebags, black, well maintained, engine bars

Four bikes too many - selling off part of my collection - time to simplify. Owned this Yamaha for last three years, y son's bike for three years before that. This was my summer bike in Montauk, Y, ut I still didn't ride it enough. Was off the road for three years due to other priorities.
The good: Went through completely last year at a cost of about $1,400 with fuel system refresh, uel lines, ilters, equired maintenance, ew battery, horough cleanup and tuning. Rode last week from Montauk to Great Neck, here now located. Passed inspection before I left Montauk. Kept garaged and covered and on battery tender. Good Metzeler rubber front and back. Shaft drive for reliability. Handles fantastically and very responsive. If you get that this was the forerunner for Yamaha's performance cruisers that followed then you understand it. If this is your first bike, hen this is not for you - way too high performance.I have video of the bike with the engine running if you send me you email address I can attach and send to you. Engine bars, indshield, enter stand, asy to maintain.
The bad: Minor nicks and scrapes as you would expect on a 24 year old bike. Mileage listed at 29,975 but I am still riding it so it may increase slightly.
No warranty - I'm not a dealer. Check my selling history - I don't sell junk.
Very reasonable reserve set - have over $3,000 invested in this bike but willing to let it go to the right buyer for realistically valued prompt cash sale.

Works Engineering in Brooklyn, Y did the work on this bike in 2014. They do outstanding work and see them on the web at worksengineering dot com for an idea of what these dedicated guys deliver. They also rebuilt my 1981 Moto Guzzi V1000G5 and 1956 Ariel Red Hunter 500cc single both of which will be listed very soon for sale as well.
