2008 MOTO GUZZI BREVA 750 in SILVER/BLACK

  For sale is a Moto Guzzi Breva 750 on a 2008(58) plate. Colour black/silver. In very good condition. Current milage is 9768 (slighty higher than on the photo as I couldn?ˆ™t resist a run up to the Buttertubs) . MOT due March 2015. V5 is present. Two keys and handbooks.

Over my ownership there have been no issues with it. I have fitted the Finebau Forge injector controller (www. finebauforge. com)  to get it running a bit richer and iron out the low speed revs pick up associated with the fuel injection of the older engine. Now runs NGK Iridium spark plugs which are better too.

Service history of both dealer and owner servicing with high spec oils as noted in the handbook. I have put together a timeline of service dates and milage. It has not been serviced annually as some would like but well below milage intervals.  Will change all oils and oil filter before sale. I have kept it in a dry garage and it looks like previous owners have too. I dont ride through the winter or bad weather.

The tyres are very good with lots of wear left having been replaced with Pirelli Sport Demon in 2012

Brake pads and  fork seals  are good. Shaft drive bevel box has never leaked.

Bodywork blemishes are: - ( I have put them in the pictures)

?·         small paint chips on silver part (air scoop bit) on the left hand side

?·         scratches on right side exhaust heat shield/engine bar/brake lever end. where a previous owner had let it roll off its side stand.

The bike is has engine bars (black plastic coated) and MG centre stand upgrade.

 Please note that the rear rack. pannier bars. top box and phone carrier are NOT included in the sale although they appear on the video and photos.

For my purposes. I bought a stock seat off Ebay and let in some open cell seat foam which is supportive but really comfortable for longer rides. This effectively lowers the seat height. I bought a plain black leather cover (excellent quality) so now it looks like a comfy leather sofa. My cat decided to slide off it one day and scratched it slightly buts its not bad. The original seat is included with both the original MG brown cover and the burgundy one that came with the Ebay seat. both in good condition.

 I have changed the original small clear screen (included. with a scuff mark) for the MG touring screen which I found still too short so added an X-creen variable spoiler which works well for motorway riding.

 I have also added a self made high level indicator reminder light with a switchable audible reminder as I am still forgetting to cancel the blinkers.

 The most noticable change is a set of high bars as I prefer the easy riding position and better mirror position.  I did this upgrade myself installing a new longer clutch cable from Venhill and Cable Tec lengthend the original cables to keep the same hardware. The longer HEL brake hose is black (silver MG original included).

The MG bars are included but have a gouge mark where a previous owner had located an accessory.  

 I have also installed a pair of spot lamps (switched via relay) and upgraded the headlamp bulb to a Philips higher output type.
