Moto Guzzi Le Mans IV

Moto Guzzi Le Mans mk4 cafe racer project. Before you bid. please understand that this bike needs a bit of work to make good. I am gutted to have to sell this bike. but a non-paying contractor has forced me into it. The bike is a 1987 Le Mans 1000 (mk4). and it's generally very sound.   It was built in 1987 but not registered til 1989. The engine and drivetrain is spot on (albeit the carbs need balancing. and it's been sat idle for a few months). the shaft drive has been inspected by a pro and declared fit and healthy. and all the cycleparts are A1. But the bodywork ain't great and it needs rewiring (the bike runs. everything works and it's mot'd. but it's a mess under the tank). The original bodywork comes with the bike (You'll see in one of the pics that it had a Sprint Manufacturing fairing; the bike was sold brand new with that fairing fitted. so the standard handlebar fairing is not available). but that needs respraying too. The original seat is sound. but is grubby and won't clean up very well. All the parts are included. and nothing (apart from the wiring) has been butchered. so it can all go back on with no problem. It's the wiring that's the main job. I'm making the bike sound bad. but it's not at all. I just want you to be aware of what you're bidding on. It's a lovely. charismatic. torque-laden bike that just makes you feel good riding it. I'd say you could ride it away. but the carbs are well out of balance. That's the only mechanical work needed. The auction will run to the end. but feel free to make me a sensible offer. Be aware also that I'm advertising this bike elsewhere. Cash on collection only. I will not ship. I'll add more pics when I've sobered up.
