Description

My name is Chip Simmons. I am the owner of Simmons Motorworks, chrome plating company located just outside Atlanta, A. I have been a motorcycle enthusiast all of my life. Through the years I have acquired several rare and beautiful examples of the finest two wheeled performance motorcycles ever built. I am now offering for sale some of my collection. This example is perhaps one of the finest machines in my collection. It is an ultra-rare MV Agusta F4 312R. Most people, ven MV collectors, on't know what it is. It is not to be confused with its more common model, he MV Agusta F41000R. This bike was produced by MV Agusta for only two years. It was produced specifically with the intent for MV Agusta to re-enter the world super bike racing scene. At the bottom of this ad, have included several links to articles written about the 312R. These articles contain all the specifications and accolades on this special model. I have spoken with the MV Agusta home office here in the US, ocated in Pennsylvania, nd was told of how lucky I was to even have one of these ultra-rare motorcycles, s almost all of these 312R's were sold exclusively to race teams, uch as the well-known Fast by Ferracci team here in the states. The Ferracci team was the factory team here in the states, nd was led by their two riders, talian rider Luca Scassa and American rider Matt Lynn. These 312R's were built and imported with the expressed intent to be the basis for MV Agusta's super bike effort. There were only @ 150 of these bikes ever produced to meet homologation rules. However, he MV home office does not believe that all 150 "frames” were built into the finished motorcycles. Again, his model was only intended to be sold for use as the basis for the race teams. I was told by the MV Agusta home office that they believe only about 20 of these ever came to the US and almost all of them certainly went to the race teams. This bike was originally sold by a prominent dealership here in Atlanta, A. and was a "special" order which took months to actually receive. It was bought with the intent to be a collector's piece and as such has lived a very sheltered life. It currently resides in my collection under climate controlled conditions. The mileage is accurate at only 681 miles. It comes complete with the factory owner's manual, he factory bike cover, he Pit Bull rear stand, he factory battery charging system, nd it runs flawlessly and needs nothing but a new proud owner. This is a bike that when taken anywhere, ill be adored and admired by everyone who sees it. As an example of its rarity, recently went to the Barber Motorsports Museum located in Birmingham, L. The Barber Motorsports Museum is the largest collection of rare and beautiful motorcycles, rom all different countries of origin and manufacturers, n the world. Even the famed Barber Motorsports Museum did not have one of these 312R's. The motorcycle is available for viewing by appointment only. It is an amazing find, nd one that will not disappoint. Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns. My personal cell number is 770-846-7425. Thanks for your interest in my ad and good luck in your bidding.
