MZ 301 SAXON

MZ 301 SAXON TOUR . Recent new swinging arm spindle and engine mounts . rubbers. Piston and rings replaced while I had the engine removed .

I changed the Bing carb for a B V F one as the bike runs a lot more to my preference . as you can see from the photo the exhaust has damage but

otherwise is in good  condition . Recent gearbox oil change . new rear brake shoes . new air filter. there is a choke lever / cable fitted from an E T Z

to accommodate the carb swap .

The bike runs and sounds very sweet ( for an M Z ) with a little clutch noise whilst ticking over . ( all the MZ'S I have owned had this ).

Includes another 301 as per pics if you need a project as well. comes with most parts to complete. this has Irish plates but I have the paperwork if you need to obtain

an age related number . New chain / sprockets with 19 tooth front . original is 21 ).

There is a Top Box  to fit the carrier included. the spare 301 motor is stripped . Gear box looks good . needs new piston / rebore . crankshaft is in good condition

and usable . There is no other reason for selling this M Z other than I prefer the Supa Five or E T Z models. The bike is taxed for 11 months but due to the new rules

this is of no use to you anyway . M O T  until 27 Aug 2015
