MZ TS125 Barn find

 MZ TS125 Barn find. winter project. winter hack. For sale a 1980 MZts125 that I recently accepted in lieu of a debt. This bike was last on the road in 2004. and has been stored in a garage since then. Please remember the bike will need a good going over to make sure it is roadworthy. it has stood for years. The previous owner has long since lost the log book. but on the DVLA site the reg appears correct for the bike. engine and frame numbers are present. I bought a new key. new battery. and put petrol in and it started. It runs and rides. lights work (new rear lens fitted). There is no horn (about £8 on ebay). The bike has an alarm fitted which works. and a second switch to immobilise the coil. Overall condition appears good but tired. the paint is ok but has scratches etc. the frame is tatty and would benefit from a respray if it bothers you. The exhaust was chrome. but badly pitted so I have painted it. Wheels spokes have been painted in the past and could do with doing again. Brakes work. I have little knowledge of the bike. so it is sold as described with no warranty given or implied. I have only started it and ridden it up and down the yard where my rented garage is. Please look closely at the pictures to make sure you are happy before bidding. they are a little flattering and dont really show all of the marks in the paint and chrome etc. I am willing to take further pictures if asked and email them. The bike is in Stoke on Trent Staffordshire. Collection within 3 days of winning please unless otherwise agreed. Viewing can be arranged with suitable notice. Buyer to make contact and pay a £30 deposit by paypal within 24hrs. I have had people win items then you hear nothing. I still have to pay the listing fees sorry. Cash on collection preferred.
