PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PIC's & DESCRIPTION. This rare old 1974 MZ TS250 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded. The wheels seem straight with nice clean alloy rims. good hubs & brake drums. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches seem ok. Fuel tank & side panels are faded and tank has rust inside. Exhaust system is original & seems solid but has some pitting.

The engine is cosmetically quite clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter & displays compression but no spark. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the American Title (Registration Document) but we will provide the NOVA certificate from Customs & Excise to prove we have paid VAT & duty. this will be provided with an official V55/5 form for 1st registration application. REGISTRATION1. You need to get the bike MOT’d. 2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. Phone North Leicester Motorcycles on 01530 263381 with the frame & engine Numbers. for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age. 3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number. 4. Post this to the DVLA who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax. 5. The DVLA will post you your age related registration number.
