1962 SLIMLINE FEATHERBED ATLAS PROJECT WITH TITLE !!! CAFE RACER !!! TRITON !!!CLEANING HOUSE !!!!!!! Over the next couple of months I'm reluctantly going to be liquidating my motorcycle literature. parts and projects. This 1962 Norton Atlas has many possibilities. Pull the engine and build the Triton of your dreams ? Restore it to its former glory ? It has a very nice Slimline Featherbed frame with very nice Roadholder forks. nice wheels. original 1960's Wassell seat. lovely oil tank. toolbox and fuel tank. Top end is loose on the crankcase but the lower end turns smoothly. Tach drive timing cover. rare K2FC magneto. chopped monoblocs. drilled front engine plates. etc. I'd also like to add the caveat that the title matches the engine but I can't find the frame number. Also the title says 1969 but the Norton I. D. chart says it's a 1962 ! Included is a box full of hardware. workshop manual and also (not pictured) another box of misc gaskets and receipts. IT DOES NOT RUN !!! If you're thinking it just needs a tune up this is not the bike for you :) Very cool but if you expect brand new condition then buy new :) Available for viewing by appointment only.
