Norton 500T 1952 ohv trials classic project barn find single cylinder off road

For auction is a genuine matching numbers 1952 Norton 500T trials bike for restoration sold strictly as a incomplete project machine.  As far as I can determine most of the difficult to get special parts are present including Welworthy alfin cylinder barrel and cylinder head. nbsp;scalloped front hub assy. correct fork yokes. oil and fuel tanks etc.  The crankcases that have a matching number to the frame have no crank etc but included is another genuine 500T botton end so this will provide all the internals and leave a spare set of original 500T crank cases.    Also included is a complete [believed to be recon] 16H dolls head gearbox with a broken top lug [broken lug included] and a spare case with a cover for a short kickstart shaft.    Fork sliders and covers are also included however springs etc are missing. The rear wheel is complete although in un restored condition. the rare and correct front hub and brake plate is also present but spokes and front wheel rim are missing. The original wellworthy head is also present and looks very good as with the rocker box but valves etc are missing.  The petrol tank and oil tank are also included. both have been blasted and primed and both are in very nice condition. There are 2x Dunlop rubber trails saddles both showing cracks etc but depending upon ones viewpoint usable.  The frame was repainted many years ago but is still in superb condition [baring for the paint having the odd scratch/ chip]  included is the original carburetor and a spare body.   The bike was a complete machine and was stripped for restoration about 25 years ago. this is why some parts are restored and others not. the bike has remained untouched for at least 20 years and has been moved around some of the parts were lost and others thrown away as new replacements were to be fitted.   In brief the handle bars. control levers. wheel spindles. rear mud guard. magneto. chains. fuel and oil lines. cables. tyres and front spokes and rim are missing as well as mudguard stays. nuts and bolts etc are missing and NOT included. the list of missing parts is not complete and therefore if you cannot see an item in any of the pictures please assume it is missing.
