Description

NORTON VILLIERS TRAIL RAMBLER 125cc. Manual 6 speed. 1978 S Reg. 11000 miles. Metallic Orange. MOT-01-2014. In the late 1970's the Norton Villiers Triumph organisation were looking for something to market other than the ageing Commando. They came to an agreement with Yamaha to supply them with a 125cc 2 stroke engineand the idea of the Rambler was born. The engine was supplied from the very sucessful DT125 which were basically the same. NVT hand built its own trail type motorcycle with monoshock rear suspension. For the first years of its life it was marketed as the NVT Rambler it was later sold as BSA Tracker. In reality though the engine and electrics came from Japan and all the cycle parts from Italy. Only the actual building of the bike was british. This one has been fully restored back to an unmarked example of this amazing bike. best colour scheme. Hard To Find In This Condition. Absolutley Mint Example.
