I am supposed to be third owner of this bike. Went from father to daughter to me. Father started completely redoing bike in 2010. Passed away early 2014 and daughter sold to me. Bike was still on lift when I bought it. Only thing left to do was install tailight and tighten up couple bolts and add all fluids. Since then I have added hi capacity starter kit. Starts as soon as you I touch the button hot or cold. Runs just as good as it looks. Only things not back to stock are (has single Mikuni carb but has the original manifolds and Amals along with all cables and choke lever. / Has electronic ignition but dont know what brand as some receipts missing. / indicator lights in dash have been changed but they all work). The paint on the tank and side covers is flawless and cost $964. The frame has its original paint. I have thousands in receipts and am missing some. Just a short list (hundreds in engine parts. nbsp; stainless spokes and nipples . nbsp; pretty much new brake system including front caliper. rotor. master cylinder. rebuilt rear master cylinder and of course new pads. . new correct pattern Dunlops front and rear). The list goes on and on. This is as close to a New Norton you will ever find. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. I have ridden this bike a little over 200 miles and never exceeded 4000 rpm. I would suggest whoever buys it does the same for the next couple hundred miles to be sure to break in engine properly. This bike has NEVER and I repeat NEVER leaked a drop of oil. Bottom of motor looks as good as the top. The bike has only 2 things that could be called flaws. One is crack in headlight. Have not changed it because original light that works fine and has parking light in it that also works. Second is horn only works about 90% of the time. If you are looking for Norton to show this bike should be a winner. If you are just looking for a rider this bike runs excellent. I am 67 and have owned several Nortons including another 75. but none is such pristine condition. The pictures do not do this bike justice. If you show up for this bike and not the nicest 75 you have ever seen then we will part friends w/no negative feedback. My reserve is couple thousand less than nada or kbb call this bike for an average one which this one isnt. On Mar-26-15 at 02:26:07 PDT. seller added the following information: Have had question I should have answered above. Frame and engine numbers match on this bike. I do have airbox for original carbs. The front forks were completely rebuilt with all seals and new fork tubes w/progressive springs. Have old tubes and springs that are still usable. Also have original handlebar grips that are not cracked or torn. Forgot to mention that petcocks were replaced but original petcocks come w/bike. I have a binder full of receipts. Have a box of small parts. some new. some used. The gentleman who refurbished this bike had passed b4 I got from daughter so some receipts and old parts are missing. One box of parts showed up weeks after my purchase. Also mufflers marked BELLS made in England. I dont know if original or not as some receipts missing. For instance no receipt for Mikuni and manifold and other things that I can see were new.
