1972 Norton Commando, Dunstall 810 project

Excellent starting point for an experienced Norton enthusiast. This is a very complete Dunstallized 810 that will need proper finishing to reach it's true potential. Most of the hard to find Dunstall bits are already with the bike. it's actually easier to say what's missing; namely the windscreen. Dunstall transfers. and a couple of other items easily obtained over the internet that I can't think of at the moment. Look carefully at the photos to understand it's true condition. The gas tank appears to be very good inside and out. along with the rest of the fiberglass. A couple of small chunks missing from the underside of the upper 1/4 fairing. small tears in the seat corners. The wheels are Borrani. Please understand that this project hasn't moved forward for many years and the parts will need a lot of attention to clean up and make work properly. The motor turns freely with compression and the transmission shifts smoothly. I will edit this post from time to time to add information about what I might have left out? I purchased this project recently from the grieving young son of his deceased father. intending to help him get on with his busy life. At first I thought I might part out the valuable Dunstall parts and then build it into a nice `72 Commando. After thinking about it for the last month. I've decided to be realistic and pass this great project to someone who really wants it. I already have way too many unfinished builds and repair work for friends to take on yet another. I have my bill of sale and the necessary paperwork to get a proper CA title but I would prefer to sell it to a buyer who is willing to do his own paperwork.
