1975 Norton Commando Mark III

This 1975 Norton Commando 850 Mark III is in excellent condition. I am including a Corbin Gunfighter Seat & 2 Handlebars which transform this into a racer. Also included is a new Bell Helmut loading ramp Workshop Manual and Replacement Parts Catalog. The odometer reads 1847. I presumed that this was the original mileage but an Ebay member shared that the speedometer may be from an earlier model. When I purchased this bike in 2010 the previous owner had completely redone and gone through the motor (the best of everything) to make it completely "fresh". Due to health considerations I put less than 10 miles on this bike since purchase.1975 was a big year for Norton:- The electric starter was introduced for the 1975 Norton Commando. The starter works great.- The gear shifter was switched from the right side to the left side as well – making the 1975 (and after) models the most appealing to people who want a Commando that works in much the same way as a standard motorcycle in the modern day.- 1975 was the last full year of production for the Commando - depending on who you talk to there were either 2 or 3 more years of partial production largely parts-bin specials.This bike runs and sounds amazing.
