1966 Norton N15 750cc desert sled, restoration project, matchless/Norton hybrid

Norton/Matchless Hybrid. This project is a rare old bird in the UK as most were shipped to the USA. matchless framed using a Norton 750cc Atlas engine and gearbox clutch etc and roadholder forks this model was conceived and designed in the USA for off road competition. THis project is 90% complete and is matching numbers. was imported by me correctly so no hassles registering it as all dutys have been paid. comes with new mudguards and brackets fasteners etc. pretty much all there but missing one clock. headlight is there needs new pipes etc. battery box and cover plus oil tank cover are there. needs the corretc maggy as someone has fitted a norton commando item which is wrong for this model. i would fit an electronic ignition system any ways as the old maggys dont last long or so it seems all importation documentation supplied by myselfthis is a great project which I will never finish. building work means i have to release a lot of bikes around the house so watch for more bikes coming over the next few days such as 4 suzuki GT750s and many many moreAny questions please feel free to askanspection welcome in aberdeenRealistic reserve

The American title has been located for the bike and this will be supplied along wioth the C&E283 form to allow registration.

Not shown in the pics is a box of parts for the bike which includes the headlight shell. il tank outer cover. tool box cover (unobtanium) and the rear number plate unit. I also have the rear brake arm which is in the pics wrapped in clingfilm.

I may have an old K2F maggy if I can locate it.
