Description

1996 Kawasaki GPz 1100/ ZX1100 E2, nly 12,440+ miles (may go up, s I still ride this bike occasionally). Approx 750 miles on new chain, sprockets, nd Dunlop Roadsmart II tires. TONS of extras and custom features (both on and off the bike). Adult owned, eticulously maintained. Fresh from an $850 servicing at Roadside Motorsports in Williston, T. The reserve price seems more than fair considering the low mileage, arity of this bike, nd that fact it comes with more than $3500 in extras and custom work.
Bike comes with a very interesting history; details can be provided if interested - too long for here. I am the second owner - original owner was a collector who put less than 2500 miles on this bike in more than 14 years. These bikes were only available for 2 years in the US, ut since it's based on the mighty Ninja ZX-11, arts are readily available.
All day comfortable, his bike pulls like a freight train from as low as 2500 rpm. It drives like an old muscle car - pick any gear, pen the throttle, ang on. This is NOT a bike for newbies. As setup, aking approximately 130 rear wheel hp and TONS of torque. Amazingly, his bike still manages to get 50 ish mpg.
I will not sell this bike to an inexperienced rider. NO JOY RIDES. Test rides possibly only if you have cash in hand. NO TRADES. I do not need to sell this bike - but rarely ride it any more. We recently downsized and moved to a new home, nd I'd like to reclaim some much needed garage space. My work commute is now less than 5 miles but my days are really long, nd this bike needs to go to a home where it can stretch its legs more.
Currently installed (by original owner, hen bike was brand new):
- custom paint: House of Color "Hot Rod Flatz Blue Metallic," with semi gloss black on the frame, ll nuts and bolts, tc.. The black stripes visible are hand painted, et to mimic an old Boss Mustang. Difficult to get good picture of this paint - it's a truly beautiful matte finish (is not intended to have a top coat or wax added)
- custom fit, teel braided front brake and clutch lines (rear brake still has a rubber line)
- old school (1980's era) GPz 1100 emblems
- Murph's Fork Brace (MUCH more stable front end)
- light tint Zero Gravity windshield
- Vance & Hines SS2R full exhaust system and jet kit (shaves almost 15 pounds off the bike, reat sound, ot obnoxious)
- OEM saddle bags (currently only left side is on the bike - right mount/bag needs to be adjusted to clear the exhaust tip)
- Norton Manx hand grips - have an unusual and comfortable shape, ith a "paddle" on the throttle grip which reduces wrist strain by allowing the base of the thumb to easily modulate the throttle
- original tool kit and owner's manual
Extras included (not on bike):
- original/dual exhaust system (almost zero miles on these pipes)
- clear wind screen
- new saddle (the one on the bike still looks new - was going to send the other saddle to Sargent Cycle for a custom fit)
- full service manual
- Lockhart Phillips tank bra
I may be forgetting things. It's a lot to keep track of. I did not include pix of all these extra items, s we're still unpacking from the move and the garage is a bit full. More pictures available upon request.
Very small rash on edge of left engine fairing and clutch lever (the classic driveway tipover on soft blacktop). Small dimple on top right of tank - something fell on the bike while it was in winter storage. Hairline crack on right "ear" next to windscreen. Single scratch on exhaust canister (a big thank you to the a**hole that parked next to me for that one). Blemishes on saddle bag picture are an artifact of the lighting. Overall, uch less wear and tear than you'd expect for an almost 20 year old bike.
As always, lease look at pictures closely and contact me with any questions. Bike is available for personal inspection weekday evenings/with appointment. I will consider delivering/driving this up to 150 miles from 05403 if this helps.
