Description

I used this bike for several years as a "dual sport" bike, iding trails and fire roads then home. I parked it about ten or fifteen years ago.Last week Iquickly flushed the fuel tank and cleaned the float bowl and main jet and it starts but runs real rough. I would suggest a thorough tank flushing and carb cleaning a s a start. The original chrome Dunlop rims are in excellent condition and the bike is very complete as the photos show. I have the standard skid plate which is included but not in the photos.

The left fork slider has a welded crack repair, t works fine I've ridden it as it is for several years. The front and rear fenders have numerous nicks and dings. The battery is dead. The rectifier is missing. It needs an air hose from carb to air cleaner, as a K&N filter installed. It has an oil leak that looks like its from the primary cover joint.

There were only about 1200 of these late Norton oil pump G80's built and a lot of them have been chewed up over the years as scramblers, tc. so they're getting hard to find in really complete form. Thus bike would be a very easy restoration. A pretty nice older restoration just sold at the Bonham's auction in Las Vegas for $9,945.00. Please use the photos as part of the description. Ask any questions before bidding. Shipping is at the buyers expense and please check your shipping costs. A 20% down payment is due within three business days and payment in full is due withinfive business days of the auction close. Thanks.
